This is common with gasterias. When each new set of leaves emerges, it can be slightly offset from the previous set of leaves, which can give the appearance that it's growing in a spiral pattern.

@stephongreg good to know. I was thinking about taking it out of it pot and separating the pups, but I like the spiral and I don’t want to mess with it.
