Just purchased my first Bonsai tree, an 8 yr old Japanese Juniper. Itβs bushy now, thinking maybe I should thin it out? Please send all tips and ticks for this particular species. Shaping, pruning, watering, etc. need all the help I can get, very determined to keep this alive and thriving. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict
4ft to light, direct
10β pot with drainage

PERSONALLY, from experience, Iβd leaf it alone for a while. Just let it chill and get used to its new home.
These are #OutsidePlants - even though they look cute inside. Depending on the weather and the substrate, be ready to water frequently. I hit mine with a water hose every other day when it starts to get hot and every day in the summer.
These types of small trees need to be looked after frequently. Itβs definitely not like a pothos that you can sit on a shelf and forget about it. π Ask me how I know.
