I think Greg might be having me over water this plant. It gets very dramatic after a day or two without water but after 5days I checked the soil and the bottom feels water logged.
2ft to light, direct
3” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 year ago
hi! some information about greg is that sometimes it is wrong and you just have to check the soil before watering the first few weeks when you get a new plant and if it’s not time to water it yet you can hit β€œsnooze” until you’re ready to mark it as β€œwatered” and it will keep saving that information until it knows when it needs to be watered! i hope this helps you!
Greg is an AI learning app, it learns as you interact with it. As you do, it learns the watering rhythm for each specific plant. Greg will tell you the soil β€œshould” be either dry or moist or whatever and if the plant’s soil isn’t what it β€œshould” be, snooze the plant’s water schedule by either sliding it to the side when looking at it in your schedule list or the zz button when you’re in the plant info.
Also, make sure your plant’s soil has proper drainage and isn’t staying too wet for too long. I’ve had a pot not drain right with the right soil and drainage holes, but for whatever reason the soil ratio was just off right in the center and fine everywhere else, so it was staying too wet in the center and not draining thoroughly.
