Anyone know what type of Echeveria this is? I got a small version of it but Iβm having trouble with making a proper ID. The website on the tag also didnβt provide any ID. #Echeveria #PlantID #planthelp #NewPlants

Echeveria sure are hard to find the name for because there are a decent amount of kinds. Thatβs not the only hard part, so is pronouncing their names! I have a pearl echeveria (I got lucky with a name easy to say!) , but Greg thinks that every plant that looks anything like an echeveria, is a pearl echeveria! I really think this one is a painted lady. The scientific name is echeveria derenbergii. βΊοΈοΏΌοΏΌ
@maci.in.bloom Yeah, itβs definitely hard to identify them since there are so many that can look alike. I thought it was possibly Echeveria Madiba but the leaves arenβt arching upwards as much as a madiba. I found it at a small plant section in a Whole Foods market though and Whole Foods stores are typically dimly lighted stores. Maybe the lighting affected its form? This is the first time Iβve seen an echeveria surviving in low light.
@PlantAgenet117 You might be right about the small one possibly being E. Lipstick or some other type of E. Agavoides. I actually found some types called E. Agavoides βMacabeanaβ and βAkaihosiβ when I looked up pictures of Echeveria lipstick and I think it could be any of these too.
