@Tiffanypickles hi 👋 No not at all! So easy so far. In fact I wish I’d known about them years ago. They’ve been so rewarding🙌. The only thing I’m concerned about is they might get rather large. But then I’ll trim back & share!!!
@DreamMachine facing west👍 and under an overhang so no direct sun until after 3pm ish. I’m not sure how exposure influences blooms yet. Each location has produced at least 1 bloom so far except a north side little privacy wall area that gets lots of direct sun late morning. But I have to add that those may not have been as well developed as others. Interesting too that the one on east side, gets the most light of all, developed lots of buds (pictured) but blasted all but one while I was gone for several days.
@DreamMachine I think moths are the natural pollinators. No fragrance to date. I believe the white one that blooms only at night is the fragrant one.
