Hey! My #AutumnFern and it’s #leaves are looking great except one. Why? Its stem was bent for a few days (weeks?) until we taped it in place. Does it have anything to do with that? I’m also misting that leaf whenever I mist the whole fern. The other #Leaf with a bent stem is looking fine, so I seriously don’t know what’s going on. #fern #PlantAddict

Hi @AutumnOrange yes it probably is a result of being bent for longer than it could recover from. Who knows why it didn’t do as well as the other - could be the bend was more severe, the age of the leaves, what condition either were in before the bending?πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. These things happen. It’s just part of nature. Monitor it, watch for wilting or yellowing which may mean it can’t recover. If that happens you should cut it off at the base of stem. It’s okay, it’ll probably make room for a new leave to grow! πŸ’šπŸŒΏ
