make sure you have a big enough plant pot and water with fertilizer mixed with water. basil doesn’t grow to be too big, but the roots need space

You gotta water it a lot.
It needs lots of sunlight.
It doesn’t like being cold.
It loves to be dramatic.

But it does smell lovely!

Trader Joe has good price on herbs. Make sure to water a lot! And don’t let it flower

Keep in a window with lots of sunlight, but keep the room cool or the leaves might go brown (brown leafs are still good tho).

If the leaves are soft than you need to water it more/less, I personally wait for the leaves to get soft until watering it again.

Lastly, I keep my basil in a west facing window keeping the room about 70F and it keeps the plant nice and green. Although it isn’t the fastest growth possible.

Grew from sprouts to 10 inches in a little over a month.
Stem can snap when they are matured so be careful when trying to manipulate their shape.
