This thing lived in my windowless classroom for 2 years and still didn’t die. I mean, she’s happier now that she’s in the sun, for sure. She’s hearty and easy to take care of.

I’ve had this plant since I was in the 4th grade, as a gift from my teacher. I’m a senior in high school now and Plantey the Potted Plant is still going super strong and has been able to give off at least 4 different sprouts that are turning big like it :) . Spider plants also get these super pretty lil white flowers that bloom, and the plant also LOVES to vine toward sunlight. It likes to do it what it wants I can’t blame it. Lastly, I find it easier and much better for my spider plants (don’t know about others) to grow and live indoors. Too much sunlight and heat burns them and they get wilty :(. Just make sure they’re in the sun and some shade and water them like a normal plant! I should probably contact my 4th grade teacher and let him know about these bad boys.

It’s almost impossible to have something go wrong with this plant. It’s shoots will root in water, then transfer then to soil when the roots are a centimeter or so long. Great indoor plant for sure!!

Don’t be afraid to be bold with a spider plant. It will survive a lot but giving it some extra space in a bigger pot or watering it on schedule will really make it thrive.

This plant requires attention but will grow thick and lush with the right touch. It loves rain or filtered water. It browns with tap water. With indirect sunlight and Greg’s watering schedule it will grow beautifully.
