I love these plants!! They can survive even the lowest temperatures that your house gets! My room got very cold and killed my succulent, yet jerry the spider plant survived! He is still growing and getting bigger by the day! I HIGHLY recommend for a beginner!!

Got this this plant last year from a little sapling from my friend’s plant. Has grown massively and is super easy to look after!
I have found that if not watered regularly the tips of the new leaves will brown, which isn’t the prettiest to look at, but overall it’s a super fun and easy plant!

Very easy to take care of, as long as you water it every so often, it will never die :)

I have mine in my north facing window, since moving all 3 to there, they have all started growing super fast and 2/3 have arial babies! if they are pale green then they need more light and water.

These are babies from my bigger plant.
I stick them in there until they get just big enough to go in their own pot and give away. I currently have three, one more than in the pic.

These guys are impossible to kill.
Mine in particular sat too far from the light for a whole year. It was pale and spindly with thin leaves. Not dying, totally alive, just... not exciting. I moved it and it is undeniably doing better. It became bright green within days, the leaves got wider and stronger.

Meanwhile I have another one in a retile vivarium (artificial incasdescent and UV light) that keeps growing and pushing out babies. If my tortoise doesn’t eat them, I take them and root them, I have 5 going!

They’re so fun and easy, great beginner plant.
They do need light though!

I love this plant so much. It is so so so easy to propagate. I have gotten seven new plants from one of these guys. They’re also pretty easy to care for, they bounce back if you forget to water them. A leaf will turn brown but that’s on me tbh. Highly recommend this plant. Also it blooms in the summer!! The white flowers are so cute!!

Was doing fine in a pot with no drainage, then I reported into a larger pot with drainage and it is KILLING IT. just absolutely thriving with new growth immediately, and now is lush and happy. Does fine in our guest room / office on the desk without direct light.

Spider plants are perennial plants and have an indefinite lifespan, many of these plants end up outliving their owners. With good care, they can easily live for 50+ years and they often become family heirlooms thanks to their longevity.
