What’s not to Iove? This is a beautiful, fun plant to have in your home. So many beautiful varieties but which ever type you have, I’m sure you will love it. Good thing is there is also lots of monstera owners and therefore lots of great tips and advice from others.

Easy first timer and a good plant to get excited about plants in general, also, they look great. They’re easy to take care of and easy to propagate, just be sure you cut right under the nodes and then cover the exposed part with a bit of wet soil and a bandage so it doesn’t get infected (it can happen). Make sure you have good drainage on your pots as well. I like to shake mine every other day so they remember life in the tropics lol, but really, I spray and clean the leaves every week and shake it to simulate wind.

This is one of my easiest plants I have and it was also my first ever plant! The leaves are beautiful and they don’t take up too much maintenance. You can just leave them by a window and let them grow. Water once a week in spring/summer and once every two weeks in winter.

Monsteras are popular for a reason. Give them we’ll-draining, aroid soil mix, medium-bright light and it will reward you with large fenestrated leaves. I’ve had to prune it maintain the shape I want and but it continues to grow and put out new leaves. I’ve also had a lot of success propagating it’s stems in water before transferring to soil. It’s not too fussy about humidity as far as I can tell. So easy to care for!

Loved plenty of bright indirect light in my south facing window. Although right now in the winter it does get direct light but the sun isn’t as strong and it’s loving it. I wipe off leaves when dusty and water every 10-12 days. Very easy to care for and affordable.
