Make sure to put your plant away from direct sunlight to avoid burning the tip of the leaves ! A room with moderate light is perfect !

i love my red prayer plant! i pruned two leaves off of it when i first got her because the stems had gotten damaged during shipping and i was terrified it was dying 💀 but in one month it has already grown two beautiful leaves and it has grown so much.
do not leave this plant under direct sunlight like i did because it will cause the leaves to burn, i moved it further from the window with the blinds halfway and it has been thriving ever since

I’m fairly new to being a plant parent, this plant was my second that I bought. There have been many times I thought it wouldn’t survive, but it managed. I love the lush leaves and it seems to grow a lot of them. I’ve only propagated once, and it seems to be going well so far! I’m still learning on how often to water, how much light to give, and when to repot and feed. This app has been very helpful and I hope I can this plant on being a survivor!

Not entirely sure if I’m doing something wrong but my plant isn’t growing and is rather browning on some of the leaves 😰 going to research a bit and see what I can do to make my child grow!

I have never enjoyed prayer plants but this was a free cutting from a friend. Initially, I tried to propogate it in water on my countertop and the leaves started drying up and dying. I moved it to a 99% humidity environment, and it water propped SO easily and started pushing out a new leaf every 4 days. As long as it has some humidity (I have it in 65-90%) it will be happy and grow for you!

I keep trying with this species but she is very difficult! Just ignore her, spritz her once in awhile, keep her out of direct light and tell her she is pretty.
