Overall a great plant! I’ve loved it so far. The “praying” action at night is so cool. It is a bit sensitive to light and especially humidity, so the first month took a lot of observing and adjusting my care routine. Once you know a little background information, it’s very easy to figure out what the plant needs based on its behavior. As long as you’re a keen observer and pay attention to what the plant is telling you, you’ll be just fine!

I had one plant for over 30 years! Ok, not the leaves exactly, but the root system. As long as you keep it watered enough so the roots don’t die, you can cut it back and new leaves will grow. I found the roots to be tolerant of my absences of watering. So don’t despair. Plus, I’ve already learned more from Greg about the life cycle of this plant—it needs more humidity than I knew to give it all those years.
