So I’ve been waiting on this fiddle leaf fig to get bigger so I can transplant it. My goal is for it to grow to a small tree size. However, I think I had it taking too much sun so I moved it. It wasn’t getting any better, and the leaves were turning yellow so I think it may have had some sort of pest. I sprayed it with neem oil about a week ago (both sides of the leaves) and now I’m already seeing new green growth.

It’s very particular! If you give it enough care and the right conditions it will thrive! It may not be the best for beginners though because small things can set it off

My small fiddle plant is one of my favorites. Love the big dark green leaves. Haven’t had it long enough to determine how finicky it is, but so far so good, no new growth yet however.

By far my favorite plant!! I don’t see what all the fuss is about when it comes to the fiddle leaf fig. They’re not as finicky as people say.

Almost killed my figgy because I was so scared of over watering it I was under watering it. After a few weeks of doing a more thorough water and changing to more aerated soil it finally started to perk up and sprouted new leaves and even sprouted a new branch!

Plant lost all but 2 leaves when I got it almost dead from someone. A month later it’s back to 7 leaves. Still surprised at how quick these guys grow.

It’s beautiful and fairly easy to care for. I water it at least once a week and spray the leaves with a misting bottle every other day or so.
