This is such a beautiful plant, and the little umbrellas are adorable, definitely a fast grower as soon as you fertilize it once it will explode after for a very long time

It's hard to tell when it needs to be watered but that's more on me then the plant, but otherwise its easy to tale care of and super pretty.

In my opinion (other than a Zizi) one of the easiest plants to take care of! I get at least 2 new little leaves every week! It’s under a 2500K, low setting, Grow light. It only needs to be watered once a week. Tough little plant that just keeps going! Highly recommend to anyone.

I just can’t make this guy happy. I watered it I think too much so I waited for the soil to dry out. Then tried repotting. Still sad and droopy. Watered. Still sad and droopy.

*These plants are in low-light areas (bookshelves) in a west-facing living room with massive windows. I water them when the soil is really dry or when Greg reminds me. I rotate them and switch them when I water them.*
I have two of these small scheffleras. We have been coexisting now for several years. Because they are in smaller, more shallow pots and because I don't water them often and give them they humidity they would ask for (if they could speak), they have remained quite small. Once a year, I pinch off a new sprout or two, but not often.
Perhaps we are just past the honeymoon phase of our relationship, but I don't remember being totally enamored with these plants to begin with. I got them because they look good on my bookshelves. They still look good on my bookshelves.
