How to fertilize Killip's Yam
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Killip's Yam after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Elephant’s foot repot This Dioscorea elephantipes has been dormant for a bit, so it seemed like a good time to repot. That way I’m not dealing with vines. This buddy is a little under a year old, I think. I sowed seed in August or September last year
