Yellowing leaves
I got my Golden pathos a little over a week ago. She was shipped ( who know how long in the heat). At the time of getting her the leaves were still green but have since started to turn. I havenβt watered because I was instructed to let the plant get acclimated to the new environment. She sits on a book shelf close to a north facing window What can I do to improve health?
2ft to light, indirect
10β pot with drainage
Last watered 6 days ago
@ProlificWeed This is a plant that likes to dry out between watering. But because itβs all happening in the middle it could be fertilizer burn . I just picked all mine off or Iβd show you .
Well North-facing is prob the worst direction for sun but if anyone can thrive on it, its a Pothos. Idt they meant dont water in the βacclimationβ insteuctions. If the soil is dry, water it. If u dont have geow lights, an east or west-facing window would be better for growth. Acclimating a plant is necessary during any change a plant experiences due to the stress induced by the change. When u first get a plant, its recommened that u quarantine it for 4 weeks (only if u have other plants) to make sure it didnt bring pests from wherecer its been but i usually water a new plant as soon as it arrives as shipping is a dey journey. Going forward read about the plants u have & their particular care needs. On Greg, after u add a plant, theres a section below its stats βAbout Meβ which gives an overview. U will learn mainly by osmosis buty vest advice is to ask here and one of us will gice u the correct info u need! Good luck & welcome. For a beginner, u cant go wrong w/Pothos!! Get as many varieties as u please. There r many & theyre about the easiest to raise & care forπ«Άπͺ΄
@ILoveMyPlants thanks! I havenβt touched it since getting it. So there might be a chance the before shipping it the company over did it so it would make it here.
