Falling leaves?
I've noticed that my plants leaves are dropping, like literally falling off in big chunks. I got him yesterday and I'm not sure what the problem may be. The parts that fall off have like black/dark brown ends to them #newplantmom

Those parts are portions that rotted off. Unfortunately i'm no much help with peperomia. I've lost all my attempts to a similar thing. I think they might've been rotting by the time you got them. My local nurseries also struggle it seems, all their plants are either new shipments, dying or decomposed
Hi Marie- did you buy the plant or was it given to you? I ask because if you bought it from a store/nursery- you should consider repotting it. Give it fresh, well draining soil and a pot that has good drainage but also a clay or trrracotta pot as that will help the soil and roots breathe- a metal pot will promote root rot by your plant sitting in soggy wet soil. A good reason to repot after purchase is because most nurseries donβt use great soil and pots as itβs not cost effective for them. If you decide to repot, you can check the roots to see if it has started to rot (dark brown/black root and if they smell bad itβs rot). These signs (leaves falling) could be under or overwatering or even stress from being moved. You should also consider moving it away from A/C unit as any drafts can actually dry the plant out. I hope this helps.
