Is this pot much too big for my plant?

Is this pot too big for my little tree if I fill it way up? Target was sadly out of 6 inch, so I got the 8 inch self-watering planter and a bag of new dirt since she out grew her pot.
She also is very droopy. Her leaves have also gotten long, but I see new baby sprigs at the top. Is it normal for open weave dragon plants to be so droopy?
1ft to light, indirect
4” pot with drainage

If it is a big tree then that's okay, but if it grows two times its size then you'll just have to repot it.
I think it’s way too big. To me it doesn’t look root bound so I’d leave it in the same pot.
@AlmaMG really! I think I should get a 6 inch pot then. This is a current pic of the roots which is why I thought she needed a 6 inch pot.
The roots look fine to me and it doesn’t look like it needs a bigger pot. Unless, you’re experienced with watering your plants I’d leave it in its original pot. Otherwise, you might get root rot.
I usually repot when roots are like this
@AlmaMG wow that is a great image to help. Seems the roots are wrapping around its self.
@Blackthumbs yep! That’s usually when they need the extra room but otherwise you’re just adding stress to the plant
I would go 2 pot sizes up from the original or the roots will have a hard time adjusting and doesn't look root bound one bit
probably an unpopular opinion but i think bigger pots are okay as long as you know how much to water, and when! wouldn’t recommend it for a self watering pot tho, so if you want a self watering one you might have to order online.
