So, I recently got a new Chinese Evergreen. I only got him on Sunday, however ive realised the leaves are curling in on themselves? The leaves are not brown and they feel absolutely perfect. However, I am not sure if this is normal as this is my first chinese evergreen!!

They don’t like drying out completely, they like their soil damp but also be careful it can be a thin line between a good amount of water and too much. Try checking in on her more frequently and watering her if first one to two inches feel dry. If you otherwise don’t see anything suspicious on her I think she should be fine. Also if she gets any direct sun don’t mist her or wait until the sun is gone otherwise that could also damage the leaves. Hope that helps and good luck πŸ€žπŸ»πŸ€ @SpiderEvergreen

@Freaksarebusy so the soil was very dry. Switched soil to a more retaining one. I watered it on Sunday and been misting it very occasionally.
