my plant is not feeling well

Hopefully you can see my plant and its picture, he doesn't look so well. Should i water him more or maybe fertilize it? I watered it yesterday and im planing to fertilize it next time i would water it.
Any ideas? #stringofhearts #plantcare
2ft to light, indirect
3” pot with drainage
Last watered 4 months ago
Looks like it just needs more indirect sunlight. try to place it in front of a window that gets good sunlight. Don’t overwater it. Just water when the soil is dry. YouTube has videos of string of hearts plantcare as well. You should check them out and see what they say.
Is it truly near a heater? That might be stressing it as well. Heaters dry them out.
Agreed it needs light however I put mine right in front of a south facing window. That’s where they do best for me and that is direct sunlight. Also I make sure that the top of the plant gets light otherwise it will lose the leaves there.
I would probably cut those long, leggy strings back and put them back in the pot to fill it out. You can just place them in the soil or lay them there and they’ll root themselves. οΏΌ While they are very resilient plants, mine seems to go from β€œlooking magnificent to its going to croak” all too frequently.οΏΌ
thank you so much with all of the advise. I will try my best to save my plant and hopefully get it in a better condition
@SilkyMoss20 String of Hearts (Ceropegia woodii) care involves bright, indirect light, well-draining soil (like cactus mix), and infrequent watering, allowing soil to dry completely between waterings to prevent root rot. Water more in spring/summer (weekly/bi-weekly) and less in winter (monthly). Look for slightly shriveled leaves as a sign to water, but avoid overwatering, which causes yellowing leaves.
