Does light through this kind of window count as direct su...

@QualifiedAcajou Hey Alicia! So those textured glass blocks do a great job diffusing sunlight, but because they scatter and soften the rays, it doesn’t quite count as direct sunlight. It’s more like bright, indirect light
@JungleDreamer so should I move my plants to be next to a regular window instead?
@QualifiedAcajou depends on the plants
@JungleDreamer I have these 4 in there 😬
@QualifiedAcajou All four can tolerate bright indirect light like what your glass block window gives, but a few of them (especially the cactus gang) would definitely thrive with more sun juice ..If you can shift them to a spot with a few hours of gentle direct morning light (like an east-facing window), they’ll perk up and give you better growth and blooms. Just avoid harsh afternoon scorch. If not, no stress they’ll survive where they are, but moving them is like giving them a lil plant spa upgrade
@JungleDreamer thanks! I like the idea of “spa upgrade”. We all need one of those once in a while;)
@QualifiedAcajou hahaha so true
