It shouldn’t need to be soaking per se, just keep your humidity up and spray and water with distilled water only. This goes for most carnivorous plants

All bog carnivorous plants should always have their roots touching water (distilled or rain).

I never allow mine to go more than a day without water in the saucer unless she is in a terrarium. I put her in a large clear container when I travel.
