Depends on your conditions. Most people treat ferns as with any other houseplant. They however need slightly different conditions. They're rather thirsty plants, and usually very shallow rooted, so you need to water when the top 1-2 inches of soil is dry. They also prefer higher humidity, so set a humidifier at 60-80%, away from heaters, AC, vents or drafty areas. Do NOT mist, misting is essentially using a candle to light a room when it comes to humidity.
@RubaesOasis no i don't think the salt should be used if the plant needs humidity. Even smt like a transparent bag over it and spraying it while it's in the bag. Misting would work if it's in the bag coz the water vapour is actually contained and concentrated within the bag, instead of dispersing everywhere.
