Zebra Elephant Ear plant dropping and losing stems

Our Zebra Elephant ear plant suddenly seems dull, is drooping and losing stems. They are turning brown. Can anyone tell me what we are doing wrong? #HappyPlants #ZebraElephantEar
15ft to light, indirect

So Alocasias are sensitive plants. If you don’t mind answering a few questions, I’ll see if I can help. First, what do you have it planted in? What kind of soil? Or medium have you used? Secondly, how often and how much are you watering? Third, what is your lighting and air circulation like? Alocasias like bright indirect light. They need extremely well-draining soil and good air circulation around it, so the roots can breathe. If all of that is good, make sure you don’t have pathogen infection. So make sure your roots are healthy and mushy or smell bad. If they are, change your pot and soil and remove it from surrounding plants. Pathogen infections spread.
We repotted it and used potting compost. Watering every other week or when soil feels dry. Very bright room with some air circulation, it is in a plastic pot with drainage and then in a metal container. How would you know it had an infection? Thanks
