For Jades, I just pinch off right above node. Then place the part you pinched off on top of the solid and will take root. That will spur new growth on the original plant, making it bushier, and also add new trunks.
Depending on the shape, you can 100% go aggressive with the pruning, especially in the spring/summer. As long as there’s like 2-3 leaf β€œpatches” β€œgroups” whatever per segment you’ll be fine. Let it grow a lot if you want thick branches then prune
Your jade is quite etiolated, so I'd recommend making cuts where I've indicated on the photo. Wherever you cut, two new branches will start growing. But you definitely need to move your jade somewhere with more direct sun, otherwise it will keep growing stretched like this. That's the plant literally reaching for more light.

After you remove the cuttings (cut just below a node), you can either root them in water first or stick them back into the soil. Just make sure to remove the lowest sets of leaves so they don't rot.
I’m uncertain,but I believe for fuller growth you should cut above the node.
