Cactus Care

Hi all! New plant owner here. I purposely chose to start with a cactus because it’s supposed to be an easy plant for starters. I need advice on proper love and care so I don’t kill this beautiful thing.

Hello @LikelyCatpalm47. First off, that flower is fake. Hot glued on (hate it when they do this) so be careful removing. I would suggest repotting to a 4 inch terracotta pot with drainage hole and a chunky/gritty succulent mix with added perlite for extra drainage and aeration. A south facing window or the sunniest window you have and only water when the soil is COMPLETELY dry. Be sure to always check the soil all the way through to make sure it's dry. They're pretty easy. 😁
@FairyFly Thank you so much for your help! I will give it a try and post updates!
No problem @CucumbersLife 😁 beautiful pick.
