Should I water my plants immediately after repotting?

I just recently got a few new plants:
-Fluffy Ruffle Fern
-Creeping Jenny
-Lemon Ball Sedum

I’m wondering if these plants should be watered right after repotting or if I should wait so I don’t cause any shock or damage… Any other tips would be appreciated as well! I am very new to this!
Yes, I soak mine when I repot them to make sure I get all the dirt/soil moist. If you have the right soil medium it won’t sit in water.
I reframe from watering after repotting. I would wait until the soil is almost dry before watering. This is to insure that the roots heal properly from any abrasions that might occur during repotting. This will decrease the chances of root rot.
Wait about a week after repot to let roots that may have been damaged to heal. Water thoroughly 1 to 2 days before repotting.
I wait for at least two/three days. To let the roots settle a little and breathe. Fresh soil usually has moisture πŸ˜„
