Dieffenbachia Camille yellowing

My Dieffenbachia Camille (her name is Camilla) appears healthy but continues to get yellow leaves and I’m getting worried because these are now 6 leaves within the last couple of weeks (the others wilted off completely!)

Can anyone share their ideal setup for this specific plant? I have her near my Swiss Cheese plant (his name is Charles) in a well-lit southern room, though all indirect sunlight.

The only thing I can think of is it’s perhaps too warm, or too much sun? If she’s not compatible with Charles’ vibe, maybe I should relocate her (and rename her to Diana)?

Dieffenbachia can not handle sunlight of any intensity; if you see any sun rays hit your plant, move it away from the sunlight
I moved mine across the room with a Southern exposure bc it was too bright near the window. She gets a bit of grow light from the stand next to her, and the yellow has stopped. I had a few before that. So far so good! Love your vibe idea, though 😁 I've been known to rename as they seem to dictate. Don't ask πŸ˜‚
Mine does get some direct sun and I haven't had any issues. Although, it depends on the direction of your windows, timing of suns rays, and you have to slowly acclimatize it to that.

Yellowing leaves can also be a sign of overwatering, or nutrient deficiency due to being rootbound or lack of fertilizer so I'd double check those factors as well to be safe.
@Seedstarter ah okay all I’d found suggested it was okay with some sunlight just not a lot, glad to know! I moved her back to a northern facing window last week and the yellow leaves fell off; no other yellowing thus far!! Guess she is now Diana. πŸ˜‚πŸ’–
@SteffyHazPlants haha I’ve never had to rename any before but this really seemed fitting πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I’ve moved her to a northern window and she’s doing much better now
@PoignantEllisia yeah I was worried about that but was sticking to the watering schedule on Greg and she was fertilised back earlier this summer when I repotted her (so I know it’s not root bound). I ended up moving her to a northern window and she appears much happier now.
@Bootercup oh that's awesome. I'd also be hesitant to trust an app's schedule outright as well. I just use a wooden skewer to check the moisture %.
@PoignantEllisia yes! I’ve started sticking my finger in to the soil about an inch or so down, but a skewer would certainly be less messy πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I’ll have to use that, thank you!
No problem! It's also a bit easier imo, I had trouble differentiating from cool dry soil and damp soil with a skewer the damp soil literally sticks to the skewer. Highly recommend trying it
