What’s happening to my dude?

I can’t spot any bugs and he only gets watered about once a week depending on how dry his soil is. Both of these leaves are fairly new. He seems to kill off at least one old leaf when he spits out a new one. It started with fading color and now has these spots. Pot has drainage and soil is chunky. UPDATE: definitely not over watering. roots are ridiculously healthy. I moved it into a smaller pot but it’s tight in there. Guess we’ll wait and see what happens #ArrowleafElephantEar
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 week ago
@jcPlantProper do you have any idea?
If you have a hydrometer make sure it’s not wetter than you think towards the bottom of the pot. If that isn’t it, add a humidifier if you’d like it could just be dryer in the air. Something is usually going on in the bottom of my pot with a tiny bit of root rot if I see this. If so maybe add some rocks to the bottom of soil.
@jcPlantProper he’s in that size pot because boy has A LOT of roots
@JThen I do have one! I’ll check when I get home! I’m not super knowledgeable on which pots are good for which plants but this one is a cement type and I believe that does keep in moisture so maybe that’s it!
Could very well be overwatering
@Jyondo I prefer terra cotta because I overwater
@JThen okay hydrometer said the soil was dry so I checked the roots and they are hella healthy so overwatering is not the culprit 😩
