@WholeScolochloa sounds like it's thirsty to me but I know someone who can answer your question better @OrchidLover
Hi π it does look dehydrated or stressed. How are the roots doing? I notice that your bark chips are very large and it could be that because the large chips allow a lot of air around the roots, it might be hard to keep the roots properly hydrated. An orchid that size tends to do well in bark chips that are around 2cm, so you could try breaking the chips up. They are also happier in smaller chips as it allows them to cling on more and exert pressure, which is what they do in their natural environment and this makes them happy! When you water, soak the pot, making sure that water doesnβt get as high as the plantβs stem and leave for 10-15 minutes. Repeat when the media is dry (with large chips, you might find that the roots start to look silver and dehydrated even though the media is still wet and thatβs one of the difficulties with large chips). In healthy phals, the newest leaves should be the same size or larger than the previous leaves - smaller leaves indicate stress (this could be things like to repotting at the time the leaf was growing or moving to a new environment or dehydration) and it can be an indication that the plant isnβt getting enough light, though on a south facing window it should be more than enough. It feels like it would be really helpful to check the roots and see how healthy they look
