Hi! My money tree had something similar happen to one of its leaves. I read that it could be chlorosis. Google said that it could be because the tree is lacking certain nutrients or the roots are damaged/compacted. Honestly I just cut off the leaves that were yellow and hoped for the best! Getting some kind of fertilizer could be a good solution. Good luck!
My money tree did the same thing after I first bought it. I think part of it was from being transplanted, and the other part was getting used to watering it.

When you brought it home, did you check to see if there was a rubber band/string around the base? Mine had one, and it had started to cut into the base of the plant! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Mine also began yellowing just like that because I was over watering it. I got a cheap moisture meter and it helped me get into a more accurate routine that was best for my plant. ๐Ÿ˜€
What type of water are you using?
It's usually something with watering or humidity levels.
We have well water and i water about once a week. We live in a very dry climate and we have had a week over 100 degrees.
It sounds like overwatering. Another good tell is to look for the beginning of translucence on your leaves as another sign to yellowing leaves.
