These trees are so beautiful! From what I know, these willows like slightly acidic soil that is good at retaining moisture. You can achieve this with any soil acidifier! Their soil should never dry out even in the winter… they like to be watered until the soil is completely saturated. Once it’s just slightly damp, it’s time to rewater! They grow most from April to September, so you can fertilize them once a month during this time to keep them extra happy :) These willows also love direct sunlight, so 1 foot or less from an east or west facing window will be best. Then, just prune the weeping branches or any shoots on the trunk to keep your new plant baby under control! Good luck and hope this helps :)
Oh. My. Gosh… I have nothing to add but had a ton of childhood memories flood back when I looked at this tree. My sister and I were just talking about this tree and we couldn’t remember the name to save our lives. Thanks!
