Can I replant this in moss?

#ZuluGiant I only have carnivorous plants that use sphagnum moss for soil. Would it be ok to treat it like my other plants and have it sitting in water or do I need to keep it in potting soil? Also is tap water ok or does it need distilled like my other plants?
10ft to light, indirect
3” pot with drainage

Woah, please don't do it 😧! That is a succulent, worlds apart from a carnivorous plant. I hope I'm not too late, but please do not under any circumstances leave this plant sitting in water; you will kill it in an instant; these guys love to be very dry as in you shouldn't water it for months dry. As for the peat moss it really depends is it actually peat moss or the stuff that miracle gro sells (which is just finely chopped peat moss)? You can use tap water if you want Cati don’t really have a water preference .
I haven't done anything with it yet. I'll have to buy a little bag of soil for it. All my moss I buy from carnivorous plant sellers so I hope it's the good stuff but I'll keep this one soil. Thank you For letting me know. πŸ˜€
It’s going to be happiest in a gritty cactus mix
