What am I doing wrong with the staghorn fern?
Hey guys, any tips for what I'm doing wrong? It started shedding leaves lately🤷🏼♂️. Seasonal? Haven't changed anything in the maintenance routine, haven't moved it... Definitely getting less sunlight due to winter. It's in the study which is really warm because of all the computer equipment. Not sure what else to say🙈. Thanks

Agreed with @mal9 about drainage. I will add that ferns in general don't like overwatering at their roots but they like high humidity. I would check the roots for damage like mentioned above, if there isn't any damage, I'd let it dry until the top soil is at least 2 inches dry before watering again and I'd mist the leaves and/or around the plant for humidity.
Winter does a number on humidity for sure.

Judging from the male frond, it might be overwatered.
My staghorn lost a LOT of leaves when it was getting too much sun, then it started to look better after I turned it away from the sun.
I transferred mine from a pot to a Mount and now it's in one of those cococoir baskets. I think this last change was the best for my plant. The cococoir basket allows for air to circulate and water to drain well.
Is that a pot-within-a-pot? If it is, there's no water at the bottom of your pretty pot, right?
I see you've got 25 waters under your belt so this might be a case of seasonal change - I have to remember to water less during the cold months, so I don't overwater my plants.
