Hi Simone!

If it's soggy and you're smelling root rot it's definitely an SOS situation. You could try to dry out the soil but then the rotting roots are still attached so it is probably best to do an emergency repot.

You want to get it out of the wet soil and get any rotting roots off. I would rinse the remaining roots with hydrogen peroxide before repotting. I'd also give it several days before I gave it a drink.

I don't think that succulent soil is the best choice. You do want a well draining soil but it wants to be able to stay moist once it's healthy.
Cut the dead part off and let the soil dry I think it had too much water

Definitely gonna do that, thank you!

Hi! I'm definitely gonna repot it, I'm just not sure in what soil. Would a mix of succulent and normal potting soil work?
You want more perlite and stuff that doesn't hold in the moisture for so long. Succulent soil mix with up to 50% perlite

Thank you so much! I'll pick up some perlite soon then. Would it also be a smart idea to mix in propagation powder near the roots to help with root growth?
I unfortunately have no experience with using plant products to promote growth on anything ^^'
You can mix succulent soil and normal soil!
