Plants need sun or a special grow light to get the nutrients they need! Most cacti require a lot of direct sunlight. I would look into maybe a grow light that can go in a desk lamp so your little guy is getting everything he needs to thrive! Also they need a drainage hole in the pot! Create one or get a new little pot for him that has one:)
Hi! It will get leggy and stretch out if it doesn't get enough light and that is irreversible. I think you need to give it more light, and also cut back on watering if you want to keep it where it is for a while. You can also look into grow lights for it!
This looks more like a cathedral window, Haworthia , in my opinion, with that being said, since it has translucent windows, it can burn easier or dry out. Is prefer indirect light, and they can do better in less light than brighter light. I have found that they don’t tend to light grow lights, and they dry out very quickly if place directly under all my Holworthy have thrived and a window sill. I wouldn’t say that standard lighting would be sufficient enough even for a Haworthia, with less light, it also increases the chances of root rot or overwatering. Haworthia do not like to stay wet for long periods of time, so they need a well draining soil, as well as a porous pot.
I will include a picture of my star cactus, and the cathedral window Haworthia so you can see what I mean as far as the plant ID. The first picture is a star cactus and the second two are the cathedral window.
Plants can’t survive on normal light, they need a window. They do make lights specifically for plants, they’re called grow lights and are made to simulate the sun.
