Friendly or not?

Just discovered this long tubey guy on my coelogyne orchid.. I’ve been watering full soak every week so I’m shocked I haven’t seen before! Anyone know if it’s friendly or a pest?

@unfurlingoneTX I’d remove it. I had a worm in one of the plants I bought, threw it out in my mini compost bin so it can eat things decomposing and not my plant roots. Lol
