How do I help her thrive?

#Philodendron my red diamond is HUGE with many aerial roots. She’s currently in a terra cotta pot and loving the sun from a east window. Does she need a moss pole at any point?
0ft to light, indirect
6” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 years ago
If you want something to do with them feed them back into the pot that will help sturdy your plant and allow for the to add to ur current root system. But if you wanted to it would have to be a real moss poll not coco as they don't hold the moisture at all like a moss pole does
I think they are self headers, as @Gordo said, rather than climbers or crawlers. Climbers usually have a main stem which gets longer and needs support, whereas self headers have a stem which stays pretty short and the petioles and leaves radiate out from there. Sounds like you already have the perfect set up. Eventually she will need repotting if she gets rootbound. She's so beautiful!! πŸ˜πŸŒΏπŸ’š
Great advice @Gordo @LuxuryMint and @LuxuryMint ! A gorgeous plant Christine Ann!
