My Libby(Encheveria Lime and Chile) is dying and idk why....
What can i do to save her or is she done for?

Your definitely overwatering it. I only water my succulents about twice a month. I would take it out of the pot for about two days and remove the dirt from around the roots. After the days have passed you should repot it in new dey soil. It has a low chance of survival but if you act now you might be able to save it. Best of luck 🤞
@WormWarriorFarm so i just learned that the encheveria lime and chile is a family member of the rosette. I also only watered it once so far, I’ve only had it a week, about 1/2 cup. Greg says 1x a week.

Please don't go by what Greg says on watering...it's just a general guideline that doesn't really take into consideration a lot of aspects (the type of pot, the soil, the location, the humidity etc.) I see you live in the South as I do, I treat my succulents more like cactus. I would say that the shift in lighting and the fact that you watered it after I'm sure they were over watering well before you rescued it and that has taken its toll. It really does look like an over water issue. I would not water at all for the next 3 to 4 weeks

@PlantMommy2000 @WormWarriorFarm @Succulent_Soul sorry all, @roxyvivien is 100% correct here. This succulent has already rotted in their center core/crown. At this point, it’s too late. I’m sorry 😢
If you havent had them long, it’s possible they were already overwatered at the store. Or the soil is too moisture retaining. It usually is, and succulents need to be repotted with at least 50% perlite/bark/pumice if not more, added to the succulent soil. Only water once the soil is dry, and always wait at least a week after repotting to water.
You can always try again, but be sure to follow what Roxy Vixen said and bin the soil, do not reuse it, and thoroughly disinfect the pot if you’re planning to reuse it.

This is my first having plants and i am so sad about Libby but grateful that you guys provided knowledge i can use on my other succulents.

Vash'Ni, I'm sorry about your succulent. Nadia is right about taking it back and getting another. You've only had it a week and I'd bet they watered it daily. I see you live in texas so I'm sure you need to water succulents more than I do here in GA. It's so humid here that if I water any one of my succulents more than once every 3 to 4 weeks, they would not survive. And that's with a good draining succulent mix.

@Succulent_Soul by ‘top’ do you mean the crown? Top center of plant? That means that they are so dry that their cell walls have collapsed all the way through the plant? But, do you live somewhere really hot? Because to water 3x a month means ~10 days and that seems wild to me unless you are somewhere very hot and dry? I water mine when the bottom leaves, closest to the soil, start to feel pliable, and I can see that the soil has dried out 💯
@WormWarriorFarm hahaha 😂 You are too kind, thank you Rob ☺️ I’m glad you mentioned different climates needing different water routines, because it’s true! Texas probably needs much more frequent waterings than your humid summer conditions. Where I am in the PNW, which is like a little pocket of unique climate, we get hot dry Mediterranean summers, but we’re cool and humid 9-10 months out of the year. So my succulents are generally watered every 10-14 days in the summer, and every 3-4 weeks in the long dark wet, I mean; autumn and winter and most of spring.

This plant was already overwatered one, or ten, too many times before you got it. Try again! ♥️ And only water based on how much moisture is in your soil, and never someone else’s routine suggestion. They might (probably) have much different conditions than you do 😊

@DreamMachine I meant more like the middle. I water them at most three times a month but usually just twice unless it gets really hot outside. Sorry for not clarifying.
