@GleefulComet85 Oh nooo, sounds like your baby radishes are dealing with some classic seedling drama! That rotting look on the first tiny leaves (cotyledons) usually means damping off…a sneaky little fungus party caused by too much moisture and not enough airflow…. Try giving them a bit more light, let the top layer of soil dry out between waterings, and maybe sprinkle a lil cinnamon (yes, really it’s a natural antifungal!). You got this radishes are fast, and they love a comeback arc!
Those beginning leaves are actually called cotyledons. They are the seedling first leaves always. They are actually part of the seed embryo and start to die off pretty quickly when the first true leaves come in.

They are just the beginning source of nutrients and energy supplied to your plant. Once the true leaves are big enough she naturally drops them when no longer needed.

She doing exactly what she's supposed to! 🩷

So simply remove them and do nothing else.

Like @JungleDreamer said make sure they have plenty of light and air circulation it's really needed for indoor fruits and veggies. I always provide a small fan for mine that is pointed toward them. It's important when indoors so that their stems become stronger and more durable. It also will help you prevent any fungal or bacterial infections on you veggies.

In general the brightest south facing window you have or 16 hours under a grow light is really important. To produce any veggies inside.
Here is some of mine indoors
