is it a succulent? looks kinda like a jade to me!
I agree with @strawberrymoon
That's what I thought too it was like a little tree bush thing @strawberrymoon @Niginchen
@Sxlli definitely a jade then, they grow into little bonsai looking shrubs!! congrats haha
@Sxlli you can search crassula ovata and the right plant should come up.
Can I propegate it through a leaf tho?- @strawberrymoon @Niginchen
@Sxlli i just put them on a wet towel and sprayed them regularly :)
Okay thank you^^ @Niginchen
@Sxlli if it’s jade or a succulent yes you can. Just lay it on top of soil and once it calluses over in a few days you can mist it every day or every other. Or place the very bottom in water.
@Sxlli sure you can! however it might take a month or longer so you’ll have to be patient. it may not prop too, some leaves just don’t grow into new plants.
@strawberrymoon random regrowth πŸ˜‚
@Jilliebeanstalk ???what are they doing lmao
did they just grow new leaves from the middle of the stem?
@strawberrymoon lmfao πŸ˜‚ yea here’s the third one on the tip. All the leaves fell off. This ghost plant had 5 separate plants and were each over a foot long. They finally died after a year of being moved, repotted, blah blah blah and I kept the stems for fun put them in the window for the winter@and here we are.
@strawberrymoon the funny thing is….. when I β€œtry” to prop succs every last one of them dies!! The one time I don’t, I get three!!! πŸ₯ΈπŸ€ͺπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
@Sxlli it’s some kind of succulent, looks like a Jade.
@Jilliebeanstalk maybe i should stop trying lol, my props are producing roots (and so many of them smh) but no leaves- volodya said that some props just do that and die off eventually. tbh none of my succulent props are actually from my own plants haha, theyre all picked off the nursery floor
@strawberrymoon yes absolutely stop trying. Last winter I found this YouTuber older lady in California that has the most amazing succulents outdoors. So jelly. Well, she tosses any roots and leaves in this graveyard area she literally doesn’t touch or care for and it’s always producing props.
@Jilliebeanstalk lmao time to put my props in the β€˜storage pot’ (basically a big plastic pot where i dump the nursery/store soil once i repot my plants) i guess, it might be better that way too so the plants will grow up to be tougher since they’re outdoors
