why is my alocasia so droopy??? I added a chopstick for ...

4ft to light, indirect
4โ€ pot with drainage
Last watered 1 month ago
@BuffCaperspurge right I have a support stock on my monstera I just wasnโ€™t sure
Support on alocasia can be done but yours seem to be stretching, itโ€™s searching for light. Supports also remove the ability of the plant to move its leaves freely to search/get away from the light.
Here is mine and the leaves seem to be bigger than yours and you can see they are standing on their own (except for the one on its way out)
Comparing it to a monstera is inaccurate since monsteras are climbers/crawlers and alocasias are self standing. Monsteras are usually tied by the stem, not the leaves โ˜บ๏ธ
@SnailDiva thank you!!
Normally, its the most outside leaf that may start to drop some. This is somewhat "Normal" with alocasia as they get big this won't happen as much. This is mine and the oldest left has a support on it now.
For some size
