I’ve had this planned for years and it just seems to grow...

I’ve had this plant for over six years and it just stays the same. New growth, but then it dies.
Is this spot pictured where they live? Peace Lily’s are known for growing well under lower light conditions, but I don’t know. This might be a little too dark? How much light do they get and how close is the closest window, and what direction does it face?

When you say new growth, but then it dies—is it the new leaf that unfurls and then dies? Or does the plant get a new leaf and then let go of an older différent leaf?
I agree w/Nadia plus under better conditions, when u lose a leaf or 2, it usually means a bloom is about to arrive. The energy involved in geberating a bloom is much bigger than that of a leaf (makes sense) & the plant will always favor a bloom over a leaf or 2. Also, i know we drum into ur head “DONT OVER WATER“ but peace lillies can really be watered more often than otger plants. This i cant explain i just know it to be true. Get some nice morning light for her or better yet a grow light, then let her be as they can also be divas. Then once settled, when u lose a leaf or 2, look for a bloom to come soon. They yellow gradually but still kinda look healthy until they drop off but that has always been my experience when losing leaves. Good luck!! When u get her some adequate light, i think u will be just fine!🫶🪴🌿
