It looks like powdery mildew to me. Slight infections may heal on their own, but treatment may be required. Copper fungicide or a milk spray 50/50 with water are a couple ways to treat it.

There are solutions for powdery mildew online. It's usually some baking soda, soap & water spray. The powdery mildew I get on my outdoor Lilac every year is just white and grey (not black like yours). Search powdery mildew houseplants.
