Help please... I found weird blotches on my moonshine lea...
1ft to light, indirect
7โ pot with drainage

They look to me like spots of leaf rot. What does the soil feel like right before watering? Snake plants can rot very easily if the roots sit in damp soil for too long. I noticed in the plant card photo it's in a plastic nursery pot inside a decorative pot. That set up can restrict air flow and prevent the soil from properly drying out. Snake plants also need very well draining soil, which is why soil specifically made for succulents is ideal. I use succulent soil as the base, then add in extra perlite or pumice (3-4 parts soil, 1 part perlite or pumice).
@stephonicle Thank you โค๏ธ The leaf feels like it has ridges on it but doesnt feel mushy or soft. The soil is dry and the last time i watered it was almost a month ago. When I water it I let it air out for 24hrs before putting it back to the decorative pot. But now I took it off from the decorative pot as per your suggestion. The soil mix is chunky so it is very well draining.
She is not the only snake plant I have. All of the snake plants I have have the same care regimen. But I notice that she is more problematic than the others. Is moonshine a sensitive snake plant?
