@S.ham13 @ElatedAnchistea @RealSimpleMama Okay already did that but do you know why it molding like that? I mean I didn't put so much water after doing that process but you can look at the second photo to be sure.🤔
@UpfrontDisphyma I’d check with the water quality and make sure it’s only RO/filtered water. If the stones weren’t washed thoroughly I’d do that, you can do bleach or hydrogen peroxide. And it also depends on how much light it’s getting, more light will mold more quickly.
@UpfrontDisphyma I agree with @RealSimpleMama about the rocks. Might consider getting a container that isn’t clear to see if it makes a significant difference:)
@RealSimpleMama The rocks have been washed with water and I filled it with purified water is that ok to use? I've also put the roots into the bottom.
@UpfrontDisphyma that all sounds good! You’ll still have to change out the water once a week or so, so keep an eye on it. 🌱☀️❤️
@RealSimpleMama But I'm also wondering is it okay to do it 3 weeks or do I have to do it at one week a few times just for the recovery of this lucky bamboo?🤨
@UpfrontDisphyma I would always do it once a week. By three weeks there will be all kinds of film and junk on the top of the water, plus bacteria that’ll eat the roots and rot the plant, and it will have used up any nutrients in the water.
