I got my little plant at Fry's and it's all shriveled on ...

5ft to light, indirect
3” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 week ago
I’m sorry your ice plant is withering. Do the pot have drainage? (Greg app shows no drainage.) Sometimes, when the leaves withering, its a sign of root rot due to overwatering. Transplanting it is a solution. I hope your plant will make a speedy recovery.
Hey you planter needs drainage. I would recommend switching the plant from its existing pot to one with drainage holes. Also make sure to switch to a well draining succulent substrate if you plant isn’t already in one.

Hope this helps, happy growing!
Welcome to Greg, Nicole! Your little ice plant is a #wishlistplant of mine!

Sometimes, plants lose leaves in order to preserve more healthy leaves. If you just got it, it could be going through an adjustment period and attempting to acclimate it it's new home. Usually, I recommend to leave the plant in the original pot for as long as possible before replanting. οΏΌIf the roots got jostled about or if a stem was bent, those could be reasons why the leaves shriveled.

Personally, it looks like there were four little plants and the two smallest plants just didn't make it.

May I suggest giving your plant as much Arizona light as you can? That will help your little succ to recover and hopefully put off new growth this summer. (:
Thank you all for the advice I hope this works I'm keeping my fingers crossed . I transplanted it into a smaller pot with more drainage. I salvaged what I could of the baby ice plant . Should I leave it alone for a few weeks to settle in before I water it ?
