How often do you guys water your #pothos?

So people told me to water my pothos only once every one to two weeks... My baby pothos just watered 2 days ago (2nd February) but today (4th February) the top 2 inches of the soil is already dry like sand.
@SlickCookspine I don't want to water it too frequent as well, but the soil is already bone dry which I watered it again... Zzz Maybe yours are bigger pots?
@SlickCookspine mine droopy because of rotten roots stresses not because of dehydrated. People said to water the plant if the top 2 inches are bone dry, so I just watered it. 😑

By the way, what's the size of your pot? And what about the temperature there?
Water when drooping-- this is actually not a true pothos though. This is a scindapsus which is called a pothos, though. People usually water when the leaves curl and you haven't given it water for a while.
@SlickCookspine mine is 7cm x 8cm.. almost your pot size lol. Mine is Satin pothos, so she's quite dramatic. 😂
@LittleSongbird the leaves curl not because of hydration but rotten roots, she is still recovering from rotten roots, so she is still in stress condition. Satin pothos are sensitive and quite dramatic unlike other pothos.
You could actually grow this in water if you’d like. Put in a vase or glass up to the bottom leaf without submerging the leaves. You also maybe have not watered it enough, give it a good soaking/shower even. My plants are so thirsty lately because the heat is on and we have fires In The wood stove
@Jilliebeanstalk this plant grew up on soil when I bought it online, the root is around 8cm long. I poures water slowly all over the soil until the water came out from the drainage hole. Ido, maybe my soil has good drainage system, I guess.
It all depends on the plant and its environment. What works best for me is sticking my finger about two inches into the soil, if the soil is bone dry, then it definitely needs water. The general rule for all plants is; the more light it gets the more water it needs. Figure out what works best for your plants!
@SpiffyGonolobus They can curl in both instances :)
