What is this on my Scalpum??

#AlocasiaScalprum Good morning plant family!!!! So I got up early this morning to water plants and when I got to my Scalprum I saw this. I saw it growing but thought it was a new leaf. Should I cut it off?

It’s flowering! However, when I chopped it off of mine, it grew several leaves really quick! That flower takes a lot of energy! Good luck and congrats on taking such good care of it he flowered! A++! 🪴

Oh wow!!!! I’m fairly new to plants and jumped in not really knowing much! So it’s a good thing??? I really got this plant for the beautiful leaves. Do I cut it as low as I can get on the flower part?

If you wanna you cut as low as possible. But i quite like the flowers on alocasias
