Is the soil actually drying out every other day, or are you watering on a schedule? I’d avoid watering on a strict schedule. Tuberous begonias like evenly moist soil, but not constantly wet soil. Check the soil first and water when it needs it, not because it’s been two days. Wait for the first inch or two to dry before giving it a drink!
